Lost little duckling swims into our lives, Wiseman's Ferry, NSW

This poor little guy must have become separated from mother. We saw him swimming on his own, miraculously avoiding ski boats, to end up exhausted on the bank of the Hawkesbury river where we are camping at Wiseman's Ferry.
Newbie our dog is totally ignoring the cheep cheeps coming from a cardboard box in our van, where the duckling sits under a warm light.

We're taking a 3 day refresher here at the Mataranka Homestead.
They have live entertainment each night and of course the classic movie 'We of the Never Never' is playing on a loop in the shade of the restaurant veranda.
